OAK-1 PoE is an 12MP AI camera that features on-device Neural Network inferencing and Computer Vision capabilities. It can capture high-resolution images, run custom AI models, and perform advanced computer vision tasks. It uses  PoE for both power and GigE connectivity.

PoE connection allows cameras to communicate to other computers via networking protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTP, MQTT, etc.). As our PoE models feature device flash memory, you can also run your programs in standalone mode. OAK PoE cameras are housed in an rugged, IP-rated enclosure, which is required for industrial and outdoor use. We suggest following Getting started with OAK PoE devices as the first steps after installation.

Available in two variants:

The OAK-1-PoE is available in two variants: Auto-Focus and Fixed-Focus. The Fixed-Focus variant has the lens fixed in place mechanically, whereas the Auto-Focus has an electromagnet that controls the lens position dynamically. Both variants can clearly see objects 50 cm and beyond.

• Auto-Focus cameras are recommended for close objects between 8 cm to 50 cm of the device (see video). They can also be manually set to a specific focus position utilizing the DepthAI API.
• Fixed-Focus cameras are recommended for heavy-vibration applications, such as drones, lawnmowers, or vehicles (see video).
